China-exclusive Rabbids game coming to Xbox soon [updated]

Rabbids: Adventure Party, which is currently exclusive to the Nintendo Switch in China, will be getting a global release next month, and will launch on Xbox as Rabbids: Party of Legends.

original story: Ubisoft confirmed in its latest financial report, that the 2020 China-exclusive, Rabbids: Adventure Party, will be getting a global release (thanks, Eurogamer) on Xbox One, PS4, Nintendo Switch, and Stadia. Although it will be undergoing a slight name change to Rabbids: Party of Legends.

Ubisoft hasn’t provided many details about the relaunch of Rabbids: Adventure Party, but we presume it’ll be much the same as the original, which solely launched in China for the Nintendo Switch in 2020. The game is based on the Chinese novel , Journey to the West, and sees the spunky little creatures travel back in time for some chaotic fun and plenty of minigames.

The relaunch is expected to happen sometime before the end of next month and will see it re-titled Rabbids: Party of Legends. Ubisoft’s financial report notes that the game will have a retail and digital release in the first quarter of its current fiscal year, which ends on June 30th. It’ll also step away from being a Switch exclusive — the console is already getting Mario + Rabbids: Sparks of Hope, so any other exclusive would just be Rabbids overload — and will launch on Xbox One, PS4, Switch, and Stadia.
