This Apple really didn’t fall far from the tree.
Gwyneth Paltrow and Chris Martin’s daughter Apple Martin turned 18 on Saturday – and looks just like her famous mama in a new pic shared by the Goop founder.
“18. I’m a bit of a loss for words this morning (😭). I could not be more proud of the woman you are,” Paltrow, 49, captioned a stunning Instagram photo of the birthday girl in a white dress.
“You are everything I could have dreamed of and so much more. Proud doesn’t cover it, my heart swells with feelings I can’t put in to words. You are deeply extraordinary in every way.”
She continued on to wish her “darling girl” a happy birthday before concluding, “I hope you know how special you are, and how much light you have brought to all who are lucky enough to know you. Especially me.
“I say it all the time and I will never stop,” she continued. “In the words of auntie Drew [Barrymore], I was born the day you were born. I love you. ❤️ Mom.”
Legions of the famous family’s high-profile friends took to the comments section to personally extend birthday well-wishes to Apple, including Heidi Klum, Alexandra von Furstenberg and Ali Wentworth, who wrote, “Happy Birthday sweet, beautiful Apple!”
Meanwhile, fans couldn’t help themselves from commenting on how much Apple resembled her mother in the snap.
“Looks exactly like Gwyneth!!!! I thought that was her de ella, ”one fan wrote, with another adding,“ Beautiful like her mama! She looks just like you. Happy Birthday 🎈.”
Just last month, Paltrow shared the story of how she and her ex-husband, 45, came up with Apple’s moniker in a candid Instagram Q&A.
“Her dad came up with the name and I fell in love with it,” Paltrow revealed. “I thought it was original and cool. I can’t imagine her being called anything else!”
Paltrow and the Coldplay frontman were married from 2003 to 2016, famously describing their split as a “conscious uncoupling” at the time. In addition to Apple, they also share are Moses, 16.
